my wife has had a mastectomy just over 3 weeks ago now,it hasnt spread to any lymph nodes,we are going next week to discuss any treatments needed she is take letrozole tablets,she doesnt want chemo,is this totaly the only option she has,can radiotherapy not do the same job,regards john
chemo is not necessarily recommended for everyone following surgery, but a lot of oncologists seem to use it as there go to option that is until you challenge there recommended choice, your wife might not even need chemo and go straight to radio have a chat with her BCN they are so helpful .good luck on your positive journey.
