Just had an appointment through for my first mammogram since my surgery in December. Stage 2, no mastectomy, but about a third if boob taken away and still painful at times.
Really dreading it...how was your first one?
Hi Ladyrovermuppet welcome to the forum . Its the thought first of all that they might find something else that got to me with the first one and it was a huge sigh of relief when results come back with all well. Then as you say with an already delicate breast and then to get squashed in to the machine, its a jaw clenching moment but over very quickly.
Sending best wishes and positive thoughts your way, clench the teeth and bear it, it is worth it for peace of mind. xxx
Ohh I didn’t even know they Mano the implant boob, I thought they did ultra sound, Yikes my implant is already misshapen and lumpy, I won’t be looking forward to that next month ️
