Covid and EC chemo!

Hi, not sure of what happens now but when I was going through chemo at beginning of year I tested positive, they postponed my chemo by 2 weeks but when my son tested positive and I was negative my chemo went ahead x

Hi Mel 28, thanks for your speedy reply. I had my fourth vaccination before I started chemo so I’m hoping that maybe might keep it at bay but who knows. I was just worried about it being postponed for a long time. Let’s just hope I can stay negative for the next 24 hours x 

I was distraught when they postponed mine as I had no symptoms just the pcr test was positive.  Fingers crossed for you that you stay negative x

Thanks mel28 yes I can imagine. Covid is still a huge threat.  I don’t want any break in my treatment so I’m keeping away from him but it could already be in my system. Fingers crossed xx 

If it's any comfort to you, my husband tested positive for COVID just before my radiotherapy started.  Like you I was in a spin, but I didn't catch it and was fine.

Likewise, we had covid in the house twice during my treatment and I didn't get it. Hope you stay negative too.

Woo hoo! Still negative and I had my chemo yesterday. Hubby is still locked in the bedroom  xxx
