Recall after first post op mammogram

I was recalled year 3 and 6.  Both times all ok but they Uber cautious and double check any concerns.  Xx

I was recalled after my first post-treatment mammogram.

I had a magnified mammogram, ultrasound, and biopsies.

I found it hard to be calm when I first read the letter. However, I think it's the consultant being cautious (which is preferable to missing something!). I had to wait a couple of weeks for my results, but had the all clear yesterday (it was calcification and fat necrosis from my lumpectomy). Such a relief.

Thank you so much. I've spoken with the breast cancer nurses today and they told me that it looks like I have post surgical changes that the consultant wants a closer look at but he has stressed there is nothing to worry about. Why can't they just tell you these things??!!! Anyway, ultrasound next week so staying positive. Glad you've had the all clear xxx
