Hi there am a year and a bit since being diagnosed with stage four metastatic -am on letrazole, denosimab, zoladex and palbo amongst others.
The most important is my palbo and deliveries keep being a week late or not showing up at all, trying to rectify this takes hours, the hospital can’t help, the unit being short staffed, pharmacy can’t/won’t help my Macmillan nurse points me back to the unit and the suppliers take up to three hours to get hold of. They’ve moved the drugs to being delivered by couriers who if they so much as hear a dog bark or you don’t answer the phone immediately ( we have hardly any reception) they just bugger off and do t answer repeated calls back!
Altjough not life saving these drugs are life extending and to a mum of young children are urgent in my life.
Am desperate! They are four days late this time and I can’t get through, is anyone else experiencing this?
tam x
Hi, gosh this sounds really frustrating. Which courier company is it? I wonder if you can make an arrangement with them on some sort of agreement on the delivery. Good luck
