Hi all
I finished my chemo nearly 2 months ago. I've had my lumpectomy ( of which I have been told NO MORE CANCER )
over the past few days though. I've gone back to severe fatigue. Upset stomach. And sickness. Is this normal to have the effects of chemo after so long ??

Hi, chemo can have long lasting effects, but to be honest, if it were me and these were new symptoms I would get them checked out. Best wishes
What comes to mind is an infection - lots of colds, covid, stomach bug etc which can cause these symptoms too. But you should get them checked out as can not make assumptions. If you had radiotherapy as well, you can feel tired for up to 8 weeks afterwards.Tiredness after chemo can persist for up to a year, though for most it should gradually improve and some of us bounce back much faster than others. If you have concerns contact your breast care nurse for advice.Hope you feel more energetic soon xx
