Hi there,I have an indented scar left from a lumpectomy which I had in 2007. I was given from the Red cross probably a year later some camouflage cream,it came in little pot in different shades which you could mix together to get the right shade for your skin tone, also was waterproof,it was also quite thick,it was amazing for coving the scar as filled the indentation. Could anyone recommend anything like this they have used or where I could buy ?
Many thanks
Hi Cassie1957 I used to work in Pharmacy and we’d get prescriptions for the type of cream you mention. I’m not sure with all the cutbacks whether doctors will still prescribe, but it’s worth a go maybe? I’ll try and find the name. Best wishes, Karen
I found this website https://www.changingfaces.org.uk/services-support/skin-camouflage-service/skin-camouflage-products-prescriptions/ and it mentions the brands I remember.
Thank you Karen,I will look in to this, really appreciate
