I’m back

Hi lady_tinkerbell, welcome back although I’m sorry it’s clearly not just to say hi. I remember your username, I’ve been hanging around here for nearly 4 years! I’ve had a look at your profile to remind myself of your situation. Sorry you’ve had to have a biopsy and are now in pain. Were you recalled after your annual mammogram? Horrible to be back on the waiting for results rollercoaster too. Have you a date to go back for results?

Hi Happyfeet. Thank you for remembering me and taking the time to respond to me. 

I have been in pain with my scar and underarm and arm area for a while and it felt full of fluid and not right. So I went back to the consultant. They are great and very thorough. But I’m convincing myself of all sorts cos of the pain!

Hi lady_tinkerbell, thanks I’m doing well, mainly because I was able to retire a few years earlier than planned! Couldn’t manage work with the effects of Anastrozole, which I’m on for another year minimum and possibly a few beyond as evidence suggests it’s beneficial. But can always manage a walk once I get out, so that’s now my passion - walking with friend or dog, Nordic walking with a small group, all good! 

Glad that your pain is being ‘investigated’ as you need to know what’s going on. Could it possibly be lympheodema or have they ruled that out? Hope you have answers soon, HFxx
