I have been referred to a breast clinic by GP. I found something on my breast in the bottom left of my left breast. GP does not think it is anything serious as she described it as a small red/pigmented area less than 1 cm with a very small cyst and she describes it has appearing very superficial at this stage and she said she would be surprised it is was anything but just referrred me for reassurance.
The only other thing is that I had a chest ct scan at the same time as this started to develop for another issue and nothing was detected would a CT chest scan detect any problems with breast.
CT scans are usually accurate to about 1mm so anything unusual should have been picked up. Could your doctor check the report?
Yes my doctor said that nothing had been picked up on Chest CT Scan but I want to check would a Chest CT Scan pick up breast tissue,
