Hair loss

Not everyone suffers from hair loss so you might be one of the lucky ones. Mine started to come out from about day 12 after my first EC. By the time I had my second EC, three weeks after the first, I'd got my husband to clip my hair really short as it was looking really thin.

Mine was ok after the first EC but started coming out about a week after the second. I cold capped but still lost a fair amount on the crown.  I tried not to wash it too often to help - not sure how much difference that made though 

I had the cold cap for my first round, I need 8 rounds, the first 2 weeks after chemo I never suffered any hair loss, but during the last few days it’s been falling out in clumps, I have very thick long hair, so I actually cut it really short myself before my 2nd round tomorrow. My head was really itchy and tbh, I feel much better having cut it short. Ordered scarfs and hats x

I didn't try the cold cap I was all prepared for losing my hair ,I wash it everyday with sanex shampoo.I haven't noticed any difference yet next chemo it might be a different story.
