I now have to have a Picc line fitted so worried as it can cause blood clots heart troubke ? I
Try hard not to worry (easily said I know), it’s very rare to have serious complications. Some people can’t get on with it but most are fine. I had one for 6 months, it was a bit uncomfortable for a week but then was fine, it makes blood tests and chemo so much easier though if you can get in with it. If the hospital doesn’t give you a waterproof cover, get one, I bought one off Amazon and I also bought a couple of pretty picc line covers too. All the best x
