surgery and radium treatment now finished. 3 weeks ago. I suffered a with a little bit of cording but since radiotherapy this seems to have gone down but left a small pea size lump on scar line where sentinel node was removed. I’ve spoke to bcn who has said I should massage for next 3 weeks. That was a week ago and it doesn’t seem to make a difference. Unless I’m not doing it correctly. Anyone else had a lump after surgery and radium x
Hi, yes, I have had a few lumps and for me it was either scar tissue or fluid. I think the massage takes some time to work and to be honest, now many months after surgery, they are still there. If you're worried ask your consultant to check it out. I had an ultrasound to reassure me it was nothing more serious. Best wishes
