Severe dizziness .

Hi Missi K I am not sure if that is a side effect, but it doesn't seem  right to me so my advice would be to get in touch with your GP in the am and speak to them asap and get some medical advice re this.xx

I suffer from severe dizziness from time to time which is due to a bout of labyrinthitis (an inner ear infection) that I got back in the late 80s. It comes back from time to time. Also, the vision disturbance you’re experiencing sounds like a variation of a migraine, another thing that I get from time to time, there’s not necessarily a headache involved. Just because we’ve experienced the dreaded big C doesn’t mean every symptom we have is associated. I’m saying that, I’m as bad! I get an itch under my armpit and I’m as anxious as hell. But I do try to get a bit of perspective and have a word with myself. There’s a possibility it could be to do with the pills, so mention it to your doc, I’m sure it’ll be nothing to concern yourself with. Best of luck, enjoy one day at a time xxx

I know it is really difficult not to blame the cancer and  meds for every ailment I get . 
Fingers crossed it was just a one off episode and nothing to do with Tamoxifen.

I’m going to speak to the doctor and also get my eyes checked . Thankyou for your reply.

Ive never experienced dizziness before the breast cancer. I get dizzy now when I first stand up after lying down and my eyesight has def deteriorated. I did think this was due to the tamoxifen. But it’s not severe it goes after I’ve walked about x

I had severe dizziness and fatigue with AC chemo. Can't walk about much at all. Also my eyes are sore still. And vision has deteriorated

Hi. I’ve suffered from dizziness with the tamoxifen. I seem now to not have it so much as I take my tablet before bed and also found certain tamoxifen  brands were worse. I stick to the same one now.

Thankyou, it sounds like it may be the Tamoxifen and I have suffered dizzy spells in the past before Tamoxifen but nothing so severe. Hopefully it was just a one off x
