Hey there …was supposed to finish the 14 cycles next month but onc said ct showed spots on both lungs this time . Very small but I have to stay on it now till next ct in three months . Was not really shocked as such as they were not too sure anyway whether I’d be on it for foreseeable etc but up to now cts were good no spots so I hope if worse case they so small the radiotherapy will sort them . Anyone else had this happen much love to all xx
Oh I hope I didn’t worry you .. I was diagnosed stage 3c and had a lot of cancer in lymph nodes 21 after tchp and surgury so was always possibility I might have stay on it . They don’t send you away at risk kadcyla very good at it’s job . Just wondered about others experience of this but please don’t worry ur in a good place
That’s the one it’s a limbo diagnosis and does require an element of don’t panic attitude and trust it’s harder mentally for some to have stage 3c but still can be highly successful plenty have a great outcome but a long old journey . I feel good most days and always sought out experiences and fun lol but like all people have to clean the toilets make dinner homework’s but I walked with alpacas last Sunday with the family and such a fab day out . We do a day trip every so often always did . I’m laughing to myself as I’m a bit wired on steroids tonight lol. I’m so greatful as my adult kids still want to hang out with us etc I turned 50 this year so I’m still here and we had a friend drop at 45 an athlete so li life is an amazing gift overall but I’m human too . Anyhow hope you have no SE too badly and make sure have some downtime and laughxxxx
Hi Lovejellies, sorry if I worried you…. I’m an over thinker so thanks for your reply. I’m visually zapping those wee blighters for you and get rid of them soon. Love to you xx
Just saw messege .. they were too small to biopsy so in two minds but after a further 3 kadcyla they were gone but I’m on it for life due to neck node while on herceptin so a very good drug overall I’m stable … I’ve three years done
Great kadcyla done its job. I remember a doctor said to me it’s a very clever combination in treatment wise and successful xx
