Hi all
Has anyone got any experiences with wearing a swimsuit with prosethis, I have had a bilateral masectomy and will be getting fitted with prosthesis can you wear swimsuits and how realistic do they look , I guess what I’m asking can you tell or not ? Help please
Hi Mich1972 welcome to the forum. I can only say to you that I go to a swimming group with lots of ladies as part of a Macmillan Activity and they all have their costumes on and no one would know if they had had a Mastectomy or not.
Fact is you are in the water and no one can see and when when you aren't it is not visible at all. So happy swimming and its also very good for your arm movement and the range you can get.
