My friend who has just finished her chemo has been experiencing neuropathy.  Can anyone suggest a good foot roller or similar to help her sometimes numbness and pains in her feet?  Any suggestion would be much appreciated.  Thank you.

  • Hi for me I bought a cooling pad, even a pet one will do, really helped my hot neuropathy feet. I also got amitryptilline from the doctor which helped x

  • Your friend should also discuss the problem with a doctor. I was referred to a neurologist who took blood tests that revealed vitamin deficiencies.  This is very common with neuropathy.....it's a chicken and egg conundrum as to which causes which....but I take regular doses as B12, B1, and B6 which have helped with some of the burning/ numbness. If the damage is permanent unfortunately nothing can correct it but most neuropathy will disappear after a few months.

    I wish your friend well.

Thank you for that.  Another friend had suggested vitamin B too.

I had bad neuropathy in my feet and on bloods discovered I had a folic acid deficiency,  2 months of tablets  later no neuropathy! Maybe worth getting a blood test

That's wonderful, I'm so glad it worked for you.  I will let her know as it has been getting her down.  Thank you.
