Hi everyone, I'm getting docetaxel at the moment and have really sore finger tips and nails also my toes have started going the same way. Has anyone got any advice on how to releave this. Thanks
Hi Yvette, I have had 2 doses of docetaxel and tingling in fingers and toes. It does go after a few days but if it Carrie's on too long contact red card for advice xx
Hi Yvette it sounds like you have got the beginnings of neuropathy which is common with some of the drugs which can then cause problems with feet going completely numb and difficulty s with buttons etc would tell your nurse/consultant at you next meeting so it can be kept an eye on they might need to lower your drugs strength slightly I have seen recommendations for cold socks and gloves helping and there are stretching exercises you can do to just flex your hands and feet
