Single mastectomy with immediate implant & lymph node clearance help!

Hi, my mx with implant was in 2018 and yes I still have numb areas. The incision cuts nerves and so as they grow back extremely slowly you might not get full sensation return. You’ll get used to it, just be sure that you periodically check to ensure there aren’t any skin problems like soreness. I sometimes think that’s why you tend to be advised against wired bras post surgery. 

If you’re having radiotherapy it may impact on the implant, your team will advise and if it needs attention they can replace it. 

Take it easy on yourself but do those recommended exercises, shoulders hate being stiff!

If you’re concerned don’t worry about wasting anyones time it in my experience it is normal, I’m afraid to say mine is still numb as is my underarm from my arm pit to just about my elbow months on, it’s because they’ve cut the some of the nerves x
