Dcis diagnosis

Dcis is generally a better outcome. I would phone your bcn if you are worried about how long and ask why. From my biopsy I think I seen a consultant in about 2 weeks after with details of diagnosis and date for op x 

Hi, I had my mammogram on April 7th this year which showed calcifications. I've had two biopsies which have showed DCIS 2cm high grade and 3.5cm intermediate. I have got my therapeutic mammoplasty operation on 1/8. So its all happened quite quickly tbh. I went and had Magseeds markers in yesterday, so all I need to do now is pre-op which is on 20/7. I would question why you are not seeing anyone until August, but DCIS is not treated as urgently as invasive cancer, so maybe you could take it as a positive that they aren't in a massive rush to get you through the system.  Good luck xx

Hi happythoughts, yes mine took about two weeks also, the waiting is the worse. I was scared stiff with everything its not nice unbelievable too but stay positive it might be ok   take care xx
