Hi, I had a lumpectomy followed by re excision in March. I’ve had a lump at op site ever since, however I’m now experiencing stabbing/stinging across entire breast, does anyone else have this? Also I did have 5 session of radiotherapy in April!
I have pain and stabbing daily in both breasts. It’s like a sharp shooting pain for a few minutes then it goes again. It’s like an annoying little reminder that I’ve had cancer and it won’t let me forget it. Im sure my breast care nurse said it was normal and can last over a year.
You’re right, it’s a constant reminder! I really thought it would continue to improve but it just seems to keep changing! It’s so reassuring to hear everyone’s experience, makes u realise that we’re not alone in this!
