Hi All, I have been told that I have Grade 1 BC, ER 8, HER negative, can anyone tell me if these results which were from a core biopsy are likely to change following removal of the lump.? I see the consultant surgeon on Wednesday to get the plan, but I have no idea what i need to ask re nodes etc or if these results are likely to change.i have also came off HRT after 16 years following a full hysterectomy and i have been ok so far but doea anyone know if it would be immediate or ithere would be a delay to onset of symptoms? Can anyone advise please. Thanks for any help, it has been so helpful reading your brave stories

Hi, am sorry you have just been diagnosed. Sometimes things change at surgery as the biopsy is only one of part of your cancer, but I wouldn't necessarily assume it is going to. They usually do a sentinel node biopsy at surgery just to check your nodes are clear. It sounds as though your cancer has been caught early which is good news. xx
Hi
I was told grade 1 after biopsy and my nodes looked clear but would take one out at surgery.
thankfully my results after surgery remained the same. Even sizes of tumours were just slightly different. And nodes clear
fingers crossed you get the same results after your surgery. Then you can start your treatment plan x
