Anyone got any hints for sleeping with a drain on please had it fitted today after lymph node removal can't get comfy xx
I had my op in March and had 2 drain
s and a pico pump ....that's what I had to do too. Lie propped up on several pillows, I used another pillow under my side to tilt me over sometimes. Hope you are feeling OK after your op xx
I found it better to sleep reclined on the sofa with the drain next to me, I actually slept like this for the whole 2 weeks following surgery because I found it more comfortable whilst wearing the compression corset. I tried the bed once but found it exhausting and frustrating trying to get into a good position.
good luck
