Bum thrush on EC?

I personally haven’t had it but I know of many who have, I was plagued with urine infections, hopefully what you have in will give you relief and you can get more advice in the morning x

Hi, I had Vulva thrush during one of my cycles of EC and was advised to use Clotrimazole cream. I was told it was quite common with this type of treatment, but thankfully only had it once.

I got this- I think. I was too embarrased to say anything and just used usual thrush cream and it cleared out quickly. Also had it in my mouth. Mine was on docetaxal, not EC. But, yeah, not nice. X

Not had thrush on EC, and this is not intended as advice, but is my experience. I decided to largely ignore the dietary advice they gave in favour of taking care over food hygiene and freshness / sourcing. It all seemed stuck in 1980s pregnancy advice (which I had also largely ignored) and my normal diet includes live yogurt, rare beef, soft eggs, shellfish, blue cheese, French unpasteurised cheese, sashimi, fermented foods etc. I decided I couldn’t live without most of that. I will also happily reheat casseroles I have prepared myself as I batch cook them, but I don’t (and never would have done) reheat anything in a microwave. I eat food from deli counters. I don’t buy ready meals other than those with raw ingredients like Charlie Bigham’s. I have not had a single infection from any of it.
