So I've just had my New Patient telephone call from a Chemo Nurse. My Chemo combi is Abraxane and Carboplatin. My nurse said that the Carboplatin can make you hair go thinner but she hadn't got info at hand about the Abraxane. Anyone had this combi and managed to keep their hair?
I am going to try the cold cap but it really didn't work at all after my first diagnosis is 2016. Which I had FEC-T. They have also said that my combi doesn't make you feel as sick as FEC-T, so I really am keeping my fingers crossed.
Any advise or share your experiences will be much appreciated.

I see that you post has slipped down the pages as this is such a busy group, I didn't have chemo., so unfortunately I can't offer any advice, but hopefully by replying it will move your post back to the first page and someone will be around at the moment who can give you more support and information.
I do hope the cold cap works for you this time around.
