find out it’s a rare after effect of AC in some dark skinned patients.
here is the link for anyone who wants to read about it. Any thoughts please. Oh and it’s not painful or restrictive in any way and my mouth tastes like salty water . Every I eat especially water is same.
Gosh never heard of it until now but my skin has pigmented (I’m part W/Indian but was fairly light skinned)! I have been told the spots/blemishes MAY fade after chemo but they don’t bother me. I’m 4 cycles down and have 2 fabulous chemos to go!! Haha! I wish you well. Will look at the link, many thanks x
Welcome. Mentioned it to my oncologist today and she says normal with some. Am having my 2nd cycle and am just so grateful for life.wish you all the best Tavares
xx
The same applies to you Janito Anita! This is not what we envisaged in life but we have to kick it and grit our teeth! Chemo is a bully and I wish you well with your onward cycles (6?). What are you on? I’m Docetaxel and Carboplatin followed by the obligatory Filgrastim injections. Kind regards
Hiya, am on doxorubicin (Red Devil) they call it and cyclophosphamide and 4 cycles followed by 12 cycles of paclitaxel and carboplatin for 12 cycles weekly.need all the prayers and luck as this is tough, but we all have to kick bc in the face innit.love this community really gives energy some days when am just down.
xx
Blimey! They’re just words! . The treatment is without a doubt criminal ..May as well give us Novichok and Plutonium to round it off! There are some horrible side affects which I didn’t expect (none bleeds, burst eye vessels, headaches, neuropathy, low potassium, low electrolytes, low magnesium, iron deficiency, plus that AWFUL taste in mouth) BUT, as long as we can laugh through gritted teeth, we will get there!! Best wishes. XxxX
