I had my 12th Kadcyla cycle yesterday and tested positive for covid this morning. Bit of a surprise as i did a test yesterday morning before going in for chemo and it was negative. Has anyone been advised to take antivirals. I got a txt message about this afternoon about a panoramic trail. Just wondered what anyone else has done as feeling a little lost and very hot. Thanks
Hi Maxwell3 welcome to the forum.
I wonder if you might be best giving the chemo unit a call and asking for their advice before the weekend. As far as I am aware Antivirals are prescribed for those undergoing active treatment which you are, to, I imagine, minimise the effects of Covid on the Immune system.
Go call that chemo unit and get some advice asap. xxx
