Hi Guys,
I have stage 3 , her2 positive breast cancer.
I have had a full round of chemo, which didnt do wonders, I have had a full masectomy and node clearance, radiotherapy and I am now having a newish drug every 3 weeks for 14 rounds with a mild chemo mixed in with it, I can't remember the name.
I wondered whether anyone knew whether stage 4 cancer (spread) could be detected with symptoms whilst still having treatment, or does spread usually show after treatment has finished? I am worried sick, I cannot move on or be positive as I am just waiting for treatment to end to receive the bad news :(
What wonderful people . Glad you are there for each other. I have a rare cancer and I hope this is good for the surgeon I feel blessed and I've never feel blessed other than in the hospital vibe, they care for everyone
Thank you so much, I know I need to go into it further with my oncologist it's just scary hearing those words. How are you doing ?
As my dad always used to say “That which we fear, shall surely come upon us”. Doesn’t help allay fears I know but I try only to think of the positives and the reason that so many of us go through the gruelling regime of treatments. So many people come out the other side w/o secondary and that’s how we must think and believe. I’m so with you and look forward to your updates Youhavegotthis…..
