So I had my 5th session today and I was up all last night with needle like stabbing in my boob, and today not only am I very red, hot and now itchy!1 I’m using the cream 3 times a day not helping much _ any other suggestions please? Is this normal?
I feel your pain! My boob is scarlet and itchy as hell. I've stuck the various creams I have in the fridge and that seems to help. In particular cold aloe vera gel.
I finished radiotherapy a week ago, so hoping things improve soon.
After my radiotherapy, I was told I could use hydrocortisone 1% cream but sparingly. I've also used E45 and CeraVe and even Sudocrem as I lost all the skin under my boob. I too got itchy. It was really hard not to scratch. Hopefully it doesn't last too long x
I also feel your pain. I finished my radiotherapy last Friday and have been hot and itchy since last night. I took some antihistamine this morning and that has helped a bit
Just to update, I called my radiotherapy nurses yesterday and they've given me some hydrogel and some cool pads which are making a massive difference. Maybe give your radiotherapy team a call?
