I have my lumpectomy and lymph node removal (4) scheduled on 24th with radio tags booked for 22nd June, do you think I will be recovered in time?
Have sore throat and sniffles at the moment and achy….!!
What’s your experiences ? So need my op ontime!!! Thanks xx

  • Hi Amellie11 welcome to the forum and sorry to hear about what has been happening for you.

I think the answer to your question is no, you will not be well enough and i think it is vital that you call the unit where you are due to have the tags and the surgery and notify them of the positive result you have had. I know here at local level the advice is completely different for healthcare settings and care homes so please do give them a ring.

  • Thanks and yes I have. Have been advised to repeat Lateral Flow test on Tuesday and ring them with the result am praying it will be negative. Am feeling ok apart from a really sore throat….!! But compared to Chemotherapy it is a breeze!! X
