Just thought I'd post a lighter post...slightly! Does anyone else get the temporary prickles in the bum when steroids given via IV ?
they call it prickly hedgehog on my chemo unit. haven't seen many posts about it.
I only 3 more prickly hedgehogs to go...9 of PX done.
It does tickle me....literally! most bizarre feeling! none of the nurses know why we get it and nor does Google!!! if they do it real slow it doesn't always happen but even tho my lovely nurse was very slow when she put through the saline flush after ..hey ho! got me ...stay cool everyone tomorrow and Friday...one long hot flush! ha ha
Never heard of it but since chronic diarrhoea I’ve got through a large jar of Vaseline in 2 months!!
