COVID positive 3 days after surgery…

Bless your heart, I tested positive the day after my bilateral mastectomies……not the best time to have a rotten cough, I swear my insides felt like they were going to fall out of my wounds! 
i tested negative on the Monday for my surgery on Thursday.

it’s really tough to cope with Covid on top of everything else, it’s such a difficult time for you but hopefully you are fully vaccinated to help you recover swiftly and hopefully you’ll feel better soon.

in my opinion there’s nothing wrong with feeling sorry for yourself now and then, just be sure to pick yourself up and embrace every little achievement each day.

Yes, fully vaccinated but thinking where is the 4th jab for us?

I am so lucky that my re excision is so good. No pain or anything. I know you’ll know it’s the waiting that’s painful. 

I hope you’re recovering well from your mastectomies.

Oh the waiting is pure torture, I’m still waiting for my oncologist appointment so I can continue with my post surgery treatment and my surgery was almost 8 weeks ago. I also wondered about our 4th vaccination, I think I may contact my GP surgery to ask about it. Thank you physically I’m doing really well which is great, I am struggling mentally, I couldn’t have any reconstruction for 2 years and it’s really difficult to come to terms with being flat.
