I lost my hair during my second round of EC back in January. After 4 x EC I went onto 4 rounds of docetaxel and my hair started growing back. Now that I've finished my last docetaxel I have soft fluffy hair which is about 1.5cm long.
However, yesterday and today I've noticed it is coming out - every time I touch it a few strands fall out. It feels very much like it did a few days before everything fell out the first time.
Has anyone else had this?
Hi clurrocks, exactly as you say it was quite scary as I thought my hair loss had stopped and then I was completely bald again. It came back though and after a month I had a covering all over, very light and I now have a short pixie cut and have dyed my hair twice(7 months post chemo). I used Regaine for a month my oncologist said would be fine and I felt good when you could see the little hairs coming back. X
I used the Regaine spray for women and I am not sure if it helped or not but after a month I at least had a covering of hair Only used for 1st month as i then knew it was growing. Hope you don’t lose all your hair and that it’s just a few hairs being diffy
