Hi folks
If you're about to start chemo you'll probably be feeling a bit scared, I know I was, so I'd like to try to give you a bit of comfort and reassurance.
My experience is that the fear if the unknown was the worst part. Bit when I'd been once I felt soooo much better about everything. I was really scared the first time having no idea what to expect but it really does get easier.
I've had 3 x 3 weekly EC and 5 out of 12 weekly Paclitaxel and so far have had very few side effects apart from severe tiredness. I'm 63 so don't consider myself fit or particularly healthy so I'm surprised. I know everyone reacts differently but I just wanted to give you newbies some hope and encouragement. If I can do this so can you.
Kind regards and the best of luck.

Hi, I wrote this post about a year ago when I was well into the chemo routine and it's everything I wish I'd known before starting treatment. Hope it helps
