Hi everyone,
im new here. I found last week after my period my left breast felt very sore and I felt a lump. It solid and feels like my whole breast is swollen with pain. Then went to doctors she referred me to hospital who will see me on Tuesday. But today my lump looks swollen painful and heavy I can also see a vein it’s a size of a egg. And still hurting.
Hi Rxuxbxy I am sorry that you are in pain and anxious, but you did the right thing by going to see your Dr and it sounds like things are moving with your referral to the breast clinic. They will be able to take a look at it for you and do some scans to determine what is going on. Remember that most of the lumps that are found in our boobs turn out not to be cancer, I myself had two lumos taken out in my 20s and 30s both of which turned out to be nothing sinister, but do let us know how it goes next week. I will be keeping everything crossed for you. Whilst you wait for your visit to the clinic on Tuesday be gentle with yourself, and take some painkillers if you are in discomfort.
Hi
you’ve done the right thing getting checked out and I’m so glad you’re being seen so quickly
Sending love and positive thoughts

Thank you so much. Did u have pain with yours. I couldn’t sleep due to the pain last night. I’ll keep u informed. Xx
No Rxuxbxy I didn't really have any symptoms with mine. I went to see my Dr about a lump in my right breast, which turned out to be a completely benign cyst so nothing to worry about, but during the course of the scans checking that, they actually discovered cancer in my left breast, so it was pure luck really. Pain can be a symptom of breast cancer but I believe that most people don't experience pain and so most people don't report pain as a symptom of their breast cancer.
Update: went for xray and also mammogram! Had a drainage done so breast feels a lot better but swollen from where needles were put also biopsy which has made the area very sore and red. Doctor said it was a infection and prescribed me antibiotics so waiting on biopsy and I’m so nervous
