Hi everyone, was wounding if anyone is having Trastuzumab targeting cancer drug and the side effects you have experience. I have had 5 rounds 6th on Tuesday 7th June have it until November. I have very painful feet. Pins and needles. The balls of my feets aching like I've been on my feet all day. All across my toes my skin is hypersensitive when you touch them feel like I've got sun burn. Having the bed covers touching my feet irritating. I have speak to the chemo nurse at my hospital she going to email my oncologist as it might have to be reduced and changed.
Appreciate any advice

I'm sorry your post appears to have been missed as it was a little while ago that you posted. I personally don't have any knowledge of this drug as I haven't had it, but hopefully by answering your post today, it will 'bump' it back to the first page and another lady who may have had it will be around at the moment.

Thank you for your reply, I have found out it called Trastuzumab emtansine (Kadcyla) and they twas another chat on here that called Kadcyla. I have spoken to my oncologist today as I have my next round tomorrow and still having bad side effects so sh
ies changing it now back to phesgo injection inside which I was having before my op so hopeful my side effect will get better and my feet will feel more normal again. Cross finger. Take care and thanks again
