Hi I am about to start 14 treatments of TDM1 and just wondering if anyone has already had some of these. I know it is only a small amount of chemo compared to what I have had but would like to know if you feel well enough to work. Thank you, any replies would be most welcome.
I’ve had 11 so far and just last two were hard some people have no side effects some do . Just keep note how u feel as u go along there’s a great Facebook group for kadcyla ie TDM1 and all ladies on this so will get everything just search kadcyla support group wishing you a successful easy time ahead xxx
Thank you for replying. I have just been given my first appointment for next week and actually feeling a little sick at the thought of it. I'm hoping I don't get poorly as I was really ill all the way through my chemo last year. Do you have to take steroids with this and do you have to do the injections after each session. Good luck with the rest of yours - you are nearly there. xx
I had to take steroids as premed before infusion and that’s it I also took a …antihistamine as I got itchy etc everyone different some don’t need steroid so it is easier than tchp as Lowe dose chemo just at end it gets a bit hard but nowhere near as horrible u can actually function reasonably normal lol good luck
