Hi
How long after you had your pre assessment clinic did you start chemo please?
Personally I had mastectomy on 17 Feb followed by first chemo on 25 March. I’ve now had 3 (every 20 days) with a pre assessment 2 days before chemo (always on a Wednesday). That gives you chance to have blood tests, ask questions and discuss side effects. I hope you only have to have a few chemos…sending best regards xxx
Hi

Hi Sharonshaz39
had my diagnosis meeting with surgeon followed by pre assessment with chemo consultant a week later and that was followed by port insertion 10days later and then chemo next day
Thanks, my hospital real slow but pushed , managed to get pre assessment 2 weeks after seeing oncologist, pre assessment on 10th June, picc line 13th June and chemo starting 14th June, having to travel to another hospital to get it x
I think I probably got diagnosed at the right time I had found lump in December and managed to get to see my Dr straight away but had to wait till new year for everything to start but lots of people might of not been able to get to drs over Christmas/new year period then would have been all going at same time goes giving a bit of a backlog
