Hi anyone woke up in the night with palpitations and flashes
Hot flushes are a pain and palpitations often accompany them, though it can be quite alarming when it first happens and then keeps on happening. If it really is very bothersome, your GP might be able to prescribe something to settle it down. Others say sage tea, CBD oil, having a cold gel pack under your pillow, cotton clothing, silk pillow case and a good fan can help. Some find a course of acupuncture helpful - am not sure if you get referred by your GP, oncologist or BCN.
If you are worried, then speak to your BCN, but I did have palpitations that came with my flashes when I first went into a medical menopause. I even had a few mild panic attacks during chemo as I started zoladex injections then and the double effect was intense.
They calmed significantly with time.
