During my chemo today, a lovely lady had her last treatment (no. 6) and rang the bell! I don’t know why but I cried and so did the other 3 people with me!! It felt wonderful to be happy for someone we barely knew and gave us all hope of finishing our grot treatments! ️
I understand why you cried, it is so nice to see others getting better, getting good news and moving along their journey to recovery.
Wishing you all the best for the rest of your journey Xx
fab news! I heard all our nursing staff clap someone the other dayvi asked if it was a staff birthday they said no it was someone's last treatment. couldn't be happier for them. aren't our nursing team just amazing. I plan to rake some tins of hero's when I'm done, hope it's allowed x
Yes I plan to bring them 8n something along with a card..just 3 more v long months….
That’s really sad removing the bell and thinking that others might not be happy! I was bursting for her sheer relief and it gave me something to focus on! So glad YOU had your moment in the spotlight! ️
We don’t do this at the two hospitals I’m treated at, always feel a bit jealous of others when they get to do it x
