Hi does anyone know if you should stop using the myrena coil if you have breast cancer?
I was told to take mine out - my bc is oestrogen 8/8 and progesterone 8/8.

Hi I was told to have mine out as oestrogen positive. Unfortunately the Dr couldn't get it out so now waiting for gynae appointment. Got my lumpectomy on Wednesday, shame they can't just get it out at the same time!
That’s what I thought too whilst your under anaesthetic . I got mine taken out week after op. By my dr luckily it came straight out x
My BC is not oestrogen positive but I was told to remove my coil as soon as I could.
