Oncologist

Only seen mine once, because I knew the treatment plan before we met (from surgeon and BCN). Feel confident in plan but not in him! Only getting phone calls every 3 weeks from Oncologist specialist nurse, who seems far more knowledgeable and interested. Jo x

I’ve never really thought about it. Only seen her for about ten minutes and was happy to be told I was going for a CT scan next and radiotherapy. I just want my treatment over with. I never thought to question anything. But I don’t need chemo so maybe it’s easier for me.

Chemo does sound awful  x good luck with the rest of your treatment.  Maybe chat to your breast care nurse. They seem to be very knowledgable x 

Speak to your nurse or email her, and request to see a different consultant. I did this at some point in a cancer department -- not breast; very happy with my breast cancer oncologist -- and the nurse arranged a transfer to a different doctor for me.
