2 week referral (been almost 4 weeks now)

Hello again 

So I found a lump under my armpit and I went to the gp four weeks back to just get it checked out, she referred me to the breast clinic and she said if I don't hear anything within 2 weeks, to ring back the surgery. Mum Rang them after 2 weeks and they said to wait few days, mum rang few days later and they said that the refferal was sent through and to wait a few more days.. So we rang again last Monday and they said they chased the breast clinic up and that they are running behind and delayed I think, so it's going to be a few more weeks.

Scince then my anxiety is sky high and I'm thinking the worse, Im asking myself what if it gets worse during then. The lump is still there but when I feel it it's more prominent now and I'm not sure but I can feel small bumps surrounding the area. I had some mild night sweats and itching but that's gone away so I don't know if that's a good or bad thing

They said a triage nurse should get in touch with me soon but not heard from anyone scince last week.

I'm also nervous because my mum is going away next week and I'm worrying that I'll have no one to go to the breast clinic with if I happen to get an appointment whilst she's gone.

I've also noticed when I'm laughing a lot my spine is very sore but I don't know if that's to do with my pre existing medical issues

Any advice is much appreciated :)
