Hi to everyone. Just wanted to ask if anyone has had stomach problems whilst taking Letrozole?. I have been taking it for 6 weeks and during the past week I have been experiencing stomach cramps and bloating. The leaflet which comes with the drug isn't very clear when it comes to mentioning stomach pain as a side effect. Would appreciate hearing from anyone else who has experienced the same problem. Th

  • Hi Freddie1 I've had some mild bowel problems on and off since starting Letrozole around 3 months ago, including some bloating, and the list of common side effects included with my tablets does include gastrointestinal problems such as constipation, diarrhea and indigestion. The Macmillan Letrozole fact sheet (link below) also lists tummy pain as a possible side effect. Probably best to discuss the pain you are having with your nurse if concerned as they might be able to arrange for something to be prescribed that could help. Hope that you start feeling better soon x

  • Me too. I am on my third brand change in a year   The side effects are awful.  I am taking the accord brand now   The headaches from femera brand seen to have eased.  This morning the soles of my feet hurt   !!! Can you believe that.  I also only got three hours sleep   This happened on femera but subsides.   Xx

  • I'm on the Accord brand too. I have read online that it could be the tablet coating which causes problems. Seems that we swap one set of problems for another ones.

  • We certainly do.  The headaches are the worst. Hopefully that won’t happen on accord xx
