I had a lumpectomy on 16th March. It was healing up lovely then 4 weeks later the wound opened up and I had infection. This has delayed starting chemotherapy.
The wound is taking so long to heal it has been recommended I have further surgery to cut and re stitch. Has this happened to anyone else.

I haven't had this experience myself but that sounds both painful and very frustrating and I hope you get this resolved soon.
