Has anyone come off letrozole and tried any other tablets please. I have taken it for a year and I have had enough. Are all the others just as bad. Recommendations please
Its of course your decision to be made together with the advice of your team.
I came off after almost 3 years due to my pre-existing mild osteoporosis as my surgeon felt the bone health could be helped by exchanging that for Tamoxifen. I still get hot flushes which can still be quite intense, but deal with them, the middle of the night ones being the worst (but that’s not every night).
i was felt to be at low risk of recurrence, my cancer, though grade 2 ductal, had not spread even to nodes, and I required no chemo or radiotherapy, but had a skin sparing mastectomy with implant (as no rads indicated this was a permanent one).

Hi I’m on Sun Pharma and apart from random hot flushes, not had any other problems, I got them from hospital pharmacy when they were first prescribed, and oncologist wrote me another prescription at my appointment, so I have time to ring round some chemists to see if they provide them. Xx
Thankyou Will persevere u til my one year check up 11 th July when I will see my consultant xx
