Mad tho it sounds I actually enjoy going to chemo and meeting my new friends and staff. One particular male staff nurse is hilarious and sings Elvis, v badly and very loudly, to the point we’re allowed to tell him to shut up! It’s such an uplifting atmosphere I feel I can tackle the world when I leave there! One lady who had her PICC removed weeks ago told us of her first bath where she kept her arm in the arm for around half an hour before realising she was allowed to get it wet. She said by then it had gone to sleep! Another told us of her wig arriving in the post and the dog got hold of it and took it down the garden where a fight ensued….
