I still have a hard lump though it has significantly shrunk since my surgery/radiotherapy in May/August 2021, consultant said healing process can take up to a year, sometimes more. I'm also still tender to the touch round my ribs and the bony area above affected breast. Not looking forward to the upcoming mammogram.
It feels as though the worry of it all is never ending! Friends seem to think that because treatment has ended that everything is fine now, but that’s far from the truth!
