Hi all, was feeling ok about my diagnosis ( well as ok as you can be) my daughter is a GP and my Nephew a consultant and they have both looked at my results grade 1 and grade 11 small tumours in my left breast. I have my operation on the 5th of May, I know it may seem daft but I cannot help thinking it may have spread although my results say not from the histology and scan. The thing is I have a little left shoulder pain and a dull ache in my breast sometimes ( I have had the breast pain on and off for a while) I have HER2 + and it was picked up on a routine mammogram, although I did have some pain at this point. Is it natural to assume it has spread ?
Hi Tilly
Sorry your feeling so worried I think we all assume the worst as a way to protect ourselves I know I was feeling my breast every single day at one point just to see if the lump had changed any and input heads we think if we think the worst then anything less is a victory
it might be worth talking to your nurse about how you are feeling just to set your mind at rest
Sending cyber hugs xxxD
