Hi
Does anybody know if any of the online or larger pharmacies are prepared to order from a particular manufacturer. I have been taking Anastrazole manufactured by TEVA for the last month and had no side effects at all so asked my GP to specify TEVA on the script ( as recommended in this forum). My local pharmacist has pretty much refused to order from them and 1 week into taking the ones he has given me from Sun pharmaceuticals and I have joint pain that I never got before.
Thank you
Aly
That is quite poor from your pharmacy when your GP has specified brand on your prescription. I would check out online pharmacies, or any others that might be near to you.
My local pharmacy could not have been more helpful when my GP called them about avoiding a particular brand. The pharmacy called me to say they'd managed to source 6 boxes of a brand I'd already had and they were putting my name on them for future prescriptions.
Sorry I don't know the answer to your specific question but phone around until you get what you need.
