Hi

I had a vacuum assisted biopsy nearly 2 weeks ago I’m still bruised in the area. But also feels very lumpy inside of breast. Where prior there were no lumps is this normal for the breast to feel lumpy this long after biopsy

  • Hi, biopsies can cause some pain, bruising and swelling but I'd suggest you give your nurse a quick call and have a chat, if nothing else than to put your mind at ease. Good luck

  • Hiya, I had an mri guided biopsy (vacuum) on Wednesday and I'm black and blue and have a lump so I think this is normal (this is on the boob that isn't cancerous but just had something show up on the initial mri) but if you're concerned definitely call your BCC, much love to you xx F

  • Thank you. It’s just quite a large area nearly two weeks. One area where I had needle biopsy is just yellow bruising and can’t feel any lump. but the vaccum area is still black and blue but with yellow bruising too
